Under the Direction of the Instructional Specialist:
1. Present subject matter according to guidelines established by Biology EOC requirements, and curriculum determined by Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
2. Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
3. Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.
4. Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
5. Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
6. Tutor responsible for working with students who need to make necessary growth on the STAAR/End of Course Biology exam.
Certified or Biology degreed applicants are paid $90/ day during the school day for a full day, and $45 for a half day. Non-certified or Biology degreed applicants are paid $70/day during the school day for a full day, and $37.50 for a half day. 3 days per week. |
