BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Assess and collect data on the functional capabilities of students at work, implement concrete strategies for learning job skills, monitor and report student progress.

Instructional Support:
- Support and participate in meeting the objectives of the campus/department improvement plan.
Student Support:
- Support individuals or small groups of students on work sites on the campus or in community settings.
- Assist in resolving parent/student issues and concerns in a timely
- Assist in managing student behavior in the classroom and common campus areas in accordance with Student Code of Conduct and student handbook.
Support of Administrative, Fiscal and/or Facilities Functions:
- Develop task analysis and modify job requirements to meet individual abilities.

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent and two years of related experience.
PHYSICAL & MENTAL DEMANDS:
- Maintain emotional control under stress.
- Work with frequent interruptions.
- Sit, walk, stand, stoop, bend, and push wheelchairs, use lifts, ramps, and specialized medical equipment frequently.
- Hear and speak to communicate with students, parents, and other staff
- Lift and carry up to 80 lbs. from floor to chest and overhead frequently.
- Lift, carry, and push up to 180 lbs. in emergency situations to drag or lift injured students to evacuate bus.
ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS:
