Description:
Under the Direction of the Texas ACE Project Director and campus Site Coordinator:
- Present subject matter according to local guidelines and curriculum determined by the Texas Education Agency, board policies, and administrative regulations.
- Plan and use appropriate instructional and learning strategies, activities, materials, and equipment that reflect an understanding of the learning styles and needs of students assigned.
- Conduct assessment of student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.
- Work with other members of staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods according to district requirements.
- Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
- Responsible for working with small groups of students (up to 10) enrolled in the Texas ACE after school program at either an elementary, intermediate, or middle school campus.
Qualifications:
Degree required; teaching certificate preferred.
Compensation:
$27.50/hour; one hour per day up to five days per week.
